I paint landscapes, still lifes and portraits in all mediums, oil on canvas being my favorite.

I have studied art for many years.  I have had the opportunity to travel and study with some of the finest artists in the country thru the Fechin Institute in Taos, New Mexico and the Scottsdale Arizona School of Art, besides my studies at W.S.U., Wichita Center for the Arts and many private teachers.

I have studied with Clyde Aspevig, Scott Christianson, Dan Gerhartz, John Encinias, William Ahrendt, David Leffel, William Reese, Albert Handell, Matt Smith, Elizabeth Robbins, Kevin MacPherson, Greg Kreutz, Hugh Walkinshaw, Ray Vinella, Charles Movali, Tom Talbot, David Harlan, Al Currier, Mike Desatnick, Skip Whitcomb plus many others.

I am a member of Oil Painters of America.  I was president of the Wichita Oil Painting Society for two years.  I also belong to the Kansas Art Guild (KAG) and was juried into Kansas Academy of Oil Painters(KAOP) and Midwest Artists (MA).

I have been juried into many shows- local, national and international.  I have been selected Artist of the Year several times and have won many Blue Ribbons and Best of Show.

Many of my paintings are in private and corporate collections around the country.
